I am the Lord, I Change Not
I am the Lord, I change not.
He is the Great I Am- He was and is and is to come; The Beginning and the End, the First and Last, Alpha and Omega, Author and Finisher, Preeminent One. In Him everything holds together. He created everything. He decrees and it stands commands and it comes into being. He has the last word. He said, ‘Light be! ‘and light came into being.
He brought forth water out of a rock, parted the Red Sea for His people to walk on dry ground and rained manna from heaven. He raises and raised the dead, made the lame to walk, the dumb to talk, walked upon the sea and caused the blind to see.
He remains first amongst all, Judge of the whole earth; declares the end from the beginning. In Him is life. In Him is light. In Him is hope, truth, wisdom.
That is why He is Lord, the Lord of lords and the King of king. He owns you and I. The earth in all its fullness belongs to Him. The cattle on the thousand hills belong to Him. Heaven is His throne and the earth is His footstool. No one can counsel Him. He is the Only Wise God.
For this reason, He is reliable, dependable, exceedingly abundantly able faithful; a God of integrity. You can stake your life and hope in Him. He does not fail. Man will fail you, sometimes deliberately and at other times because of their natural limitation but God is the sovereign Lord, who has all power. Nothing is impossible with Him.
Nations come and go. Kings and kingdom come and pass away but He remains the same. We change, but He does not change.
And so when He says, "I am the Lord, I change not."-Malachi 3:6, you better believe it, hold on to it, act upon it. He is the Unchanging Changer, Who does not change but changes things.
So what is that circumstance that has confronted you and defied you? Take it to Him in prayer, because He is able to do exceeding abundantly far beyond your wildest dreams. In what area of your life do you desire or crave a change? Commit it to Him who is the Faithful and True, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, Jehovah Nisi, the Victorious banner and your victorious banner!

Really a nice message Fenny. One of my favorite verses of the Bible is [color=blue]"I the LORD do not change" (Malachi 3:6)[color].
It is so true about God that He never changes and it gives our motivation and encouragement to trust in God in difficult times.
Thank Father for always being loving and kind to us always through Jesus Christ.
God bless

Re: I am the Lord, I Change Not
Great message Fenny. I liked it the way you put it. Simple yet very motivating in tone. The beauty of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ is that He never changes or He never goes back on His word.
If you read about other gods of different faiths, then you will see that this characteristic of Jesus Christ is the biggest dividing line among Jesus and other so-called Lords and saviors.
God bless you and your family
