Lord, I open the door
For You to come in
Come, light my fire
For a new hunger
For Your desire-
Holy righteous desire
Lifting me from the mire.

Lord, I open the door;
I confess I need You more
More than yesterday,
More than words can say.
Come this day and stay
Come and have Your way

Lord, I open the Door.
Come, show me Your light.
Lift me from the night
To live a new life in You,
Giving You Your due.
Give me passion for my cross
Like You had for Your cross.
Let me not seek a throne
Devoid of a cross.

Lord, I open the door
For You to be truly Lord,
Not just in words but indeed.
Only You can meet my need.
Bread of Life, I want to feed
On You, Divine Food,
To lift me out of the woods;
Lift me into Your presence.
O let there be a resurgence!
Fan the embers of my flame.
Let me rise in Your Name.
Set me ablaze, rekindle my flame.
Let me burn for the world to see
My Lord in His glorious majesty.
I thirst for the holy wine
That comes only from the Vine.

Come baptize me afresh.
Refresh me afresh to refresh.
Disentangle me from the mesh.
Come, my Comforter.
Come, as my Teacher.
Come in as a Guest.
Give me Your rest.
Help me to walk
as You walked,
Talk as You talked,
Live as You lived
Love as You loved.
O that I will die to self
See myself crucified with You,
Rising with You,
Seated with You,
In heavenly places.
