John 9:6-7

King James Version (KJV)

6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,

7 And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

John 9:6-7

Revised Standard Version (RSV)

6 As he said this, he spat on the ground and made clay of the spittle and anointed the man’s eyes with the clay, 7 saying to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Silo′am” (which means Sent). So he went and washed and came back seeing.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

6 Jesus healed this man by rubbing his eyes with mud. Jesus heals us with His blood. We are no longer blind when we see Jesus for who He is.

7 The man had to go to a pool to wash. We are washed in His blood and follow in obedience by being baptized. Jesus wants us to be obedient. When we truly follow after Jesus we will be obedient.
